Spurs v Lakers

Okay. It has been a while. It is not like anyone really cares anyway, but still. It has been a while. So where were we? Oh yeah, the playoffs. Spurs v Lake Show. Game 2. The Spurs caved in like Dirk and co. in that 3rd quarter. Horrible. What are the good things? Well, we know we can get up by 20. Bad things? We got up by 20 with the Lakers shaking off rust and Kobe passing the ball. The thing about the Spurs is, like everyone has been saying, they are different. Yes, they very well can be damaged by that Game 1 choke-job. Yes most people would be devastated. Maybe back in 2004 they would have. Actually, they did. D-Fish hit a backbreaking jumper with .4 left in the game, after TD cashed a no look fallaway in Shaq's grille. What happened in Game 6? Well, the Spurs couldn't shake off that loss and lost.

Things are different now. TP-Longoria has a jumper, knowledge and a longer leash from Pop. TD is older, wiser, and has a better supporting cast. Emmunuel Ginobili is now GINOBILI! even though dude is hurt. They have two more rings, and three more Game 7's under their belt. They have overcome a 2-0 deficit. They have over come a few 1-0 deficits. They can handle this, the question is: Will they?
