OD Update vs Army week 12

What happened?

I lost another overtime 'thriller'. Yeah. It wasn't thrilling. Fake Tune threw a pick because Fake Stradford was streaking down the middle and he was too wide open. I doubt the real life version would miss him by that much so I am a little pissed. Any way, I kind of cheated a little this game. I didn't play defense for much of the second half. I simmed it . The computer gave up the game tying score to send it into OT and also the game winner in OT.

What does it mean to me?

Good news is that Fake Riley Dodge is now the new all time single season record holder for passing yards with a game to go. He has 3253 with 20 tds and 28 picks. Yeah. 28. I have had to chuck it around alot in these comeback games and so have had to take more risks. It doesn't help that my receivers drop passes which lead to picks, or a 4th and long rather than a 3rd and short. Or that they can't get off the press. I had to fiddle with the lineup a little to get guys who can get open in there. It's worked slightly but I swear I have to either force it or scramble.*

*This hasn't been a horrible strategy -I got Riley 100 yards rushing twice already, and he is the leading rusher with 418. It does, though expose him to injury- he has missed parts of two games and one whole one.

So, like in real life, if we have to play catch-up all day we won't be able to use our real strengths: our running game. I have had to abandon it pretty much every game because I had no choice. So, yeah.
