OD Week 10 vs UL-Monroe

What Happened?

I won. This time in an inexplicably close, defensive game. 16-10 was the final score. Yes. You read that right. Fake UNT came into the game averaging 39 ppg and for some reason, I could only manage a measly sixteen. Not only that, but I had to win the game twice. See, I was up 16 to 3 in the fourth when I allowed a touchdown. I was forced to punt, and then they drove all the way to my five and turned it over on downs with 40 seconds to go. Cool, I'm thinking, I'll just get it to Fake Cam to win the game. I run a speed option to the outside (because I cannot run the ball this game--seriously, I averaged like 1 ypc.) All is well, as Cam breaks a tackle and gets the first down, seemingly putting the game on ice. And then to my horror, he fumbles as he gets tackled. So my newly amazing defense steps up and stops them from the 30 to win it.

What does that mean for me?

Well. Same same. I would count us lucky if we can put up a defensive game like this this year. Even against ULM.

Wouldn't you?
