Groups

So I learned in organizational behavior that groups don't start really working until half-way of their alloted working time. That is pretty much what is going on with my two groups now.

That is the intelligent way of saying it. The other way is that we haven't done shit.

It's weird too because I feel that I have been swamped with shit to do. It's been a whole lot of busying myself with meetings and deadlines but I feel like we haven't accomplished shit.

Eh.

Right now one of my groups is composed of a bunch of guys who are content to let others do the heavy lifting and just want the grade.

I don't really blame them. I feel the same way.

Still, whatever part of me that is type-A wants to do the best possible.

I can't help but think I will disappoint that part of me again.

That is an annoying way of saying that although I'd like to put it the hours and effort required for getting a bad-ass grade, I think I will instead give in to my lazy inertia and settle for what I can get.
