Chocolate
Yesterday we stopped at a Panadería nearby. They had good barbacoa tacos, good pan dulce, and others stuff. The thing we noticed most, however, was that they had World’s Finest Chocolate for sale. Now, it has been a while since we have had some of those. I was telling Jeana that when I was back in elementary people used to sell those all the time. They costed like a dollar or something. Back then, when 5 bucks meant you were the richest kid in class, being able to buy a couple of chocolate bars meant that you were the most popular kid in class. Everyone was your friend, of course. So, we laughed about that. How cool it was back then. Fast forward to today. We are sitting in Spanish class. I am half looking at the board where the professor writes announcements. My eyes fall on a stripped cardboard box. It looks familiar. Where do I know that box from, I think. Then it hits me: World’s Finest Chocolate! Some chick was selling them! So of course, we had to buy three bars. Mine tasted good. Jeana wants her money back. Her’s looks old, she says. Oh well.
