Election

I was really into the last election. Last election meaning the one in 2004, when I graduated from high school. I watched the debates. I read the articles. I listened to the radio. I voted.

Now? No. I am not caring because I have become lazy on the subject. I think its because I am wiser. Really, party politics are stupid. To strike a real balance between the red and blue, I think the Dems need to take office for the next eight years. After that, I'd like to see another G.O.P rep get a crack at it. Really, its the only way to truly be bipartisan. Let them both at bat.

I mean both of these dudes, and any other dudes, or chicks that even get considered for running for even nomination has been groomed and prepped and handled. There is no individuality in Washington or any other capitol. There is no representative of the people anymore than any one professional sports team truly represents the city in which they play.

It is what it is.

  1. I see where you're going with this and all but why a democratic president? isn't the president supposed to check the power of congress, we have a dem congress for now.
But thats really just the surface of our problem. You want a democratic president, why? what will he do for the country at a time when we are spending 700 billion dollars on something the government started in the first place. Mccain is just as bad unfotrunately, hence I see where you are coming from.
But this election is too important to not vote with Iran possibly getting Nuclear weapons (then the terrorists WILL get them, not might) and our economy, energy and so on. We must make a decision and trying to get him in for your reasons makes no sense. Even if he should be in office I want to know your reasons for that.
