Pete Fredenburg, Mike MacIntyre, Paul Randolph, Tom Rossley, Larry Coker, Bill Bradley and some unnamed guy.

Those are the final candidates. MacIntyre has NFL coaching experience, plus SA experience with the Gunslingers. Coker won a title, albeit with someone else's players. Randolph is the only black guy. Rossley is old.

I don't know. MacIntyre is 44. Randolph is 42. They are the youngest of those named. I would probably go with one of those guys, favoring youth. You can always grab an old, experienced guy to head up your coordinator jobs. I think the coach has to be young to get this thing started.

Also, I probably would go with the black guy. Why? Well when like 99% of the colleges hire white coaches, they leave the black coach talent pool untapped. So, using logic here, we would stand a better chance of finding a diamond in the rough in the untapped pool of coaches.
