Watched Spurs vs Hawks 3/21/10

Overtime. Usually that is exciting. I hate seeing the Spurs go into overtime. Something to do with me being a fan and whatnot.

Ginobili was dominant. 38 points and played heavy minutes. Team shot 51%. And they lost.

Fuckballs.

There is a lot of talk about how the Spurs are just not the Spurs of old. Unfortunately I cannot speak intelligently about it having not seen the vast majority of their games this year. I will say that their rebounding sucks ass cheeks. Horford had like 8 or 9 offensive boards of his freakin' 18 total. As a team they were out-boarded by ten. Two or three of them were crucial ones during the last two minutes of regulation and OT.

Ugh.

Loss to ATL and combined with the looming back-to-back sucks. Toss in the Laker game plus the Lebrons on this weeks schedule, and we may be looking at a ninth ranked Spurs team by the time I'm watching Hot Tub Time Machine on friday night.
