Incognito #1, Kick Ass # 5, Wolverine # 70 Reviews!

Incognito #1: 

I liked it. That is the simplest way to review a book. It is an unusual in that it centers around the villain, but it isn't so unsusual in the way it tells it story. The main dude is telling how/why he is in his situation etc. That isn't a bad thing, it just is. The art is not my favorite but it is effective. Phillips has some high points.

Kick Ass #5: 

Again, I liked it. I have been reading this since the first issue forever ago. Kick Ass gets a partner! Sort of. This is Kick Ass Year One. Most people like origin stories etc because they can relate to the character. Most often they start out as Joe Nobody and through crazy circumstances, they become Joe Superhero. I think that is why most people like this book. It is the Spiderman thing, without him getting bit by a spider.

Wolverine # 70

Most stories work if you don't think too much about the plausiblitity. I am sure in some class I should have been paying attention in, they told me what the word for that is. Alas, it escapes me. Anyway, I buy the reason that 'they broke (him), bub.' Him being Wolverine. I can see why he wouldn't want to pop his claws anymore after that. Still, if you do some thinking about it, you start to question .... and that is why I choose to not think more about it. It is a cool what-if type story.
