So Gio's transfer got me to thinking.
I have always been a supporter of the three-year minimum on coaching tenures-barring extraordinary circumstances. I have argued in this space that Dodge-y should get three years to turn this thing around before we start to judge him.
I think we are now entering extraordinary circumstance territory. You cannot start being a radioactive program. We are becoming that. We have had a unusual ( to my eyes at least ) number of transfers/quitting so far.
The reciever guy, and now Gio. One other dude feigned sickness and left for smoo (smu). Woody Wilson quit, right?
WTF?
Does it suck that bad playing for TD? Is it just the losing?
The biggest concern is Gio's reason for leaving: "the program is just not right for me"
Program=Dodge.
Your head coach IS the program. Dodge is the head guy, so he is the program, thus "Dodge sucks ass cheeks, that is why I am leaving."
At least that is my interpretation.
It is never good when your QB ( the second in line in program recognition ) bounces.
