web hit counter Self Aggrandizing: Mike Crabtree going Pro

Mike Crabtree going Pro

Dude was phenomenal while he was a Red Raider. He made that offense nearly unstoppable (but he was contained v. Sooners)

There was nothing left for the dude to accomplish individually in college. The Heisman would be out of reach  because he does not return kicks and he is at the whim of a new quarterback. No chance there. He already won the Biletnikoff award. Twice.

Now, recievers are always hard to project in the NFL.

'Member these can't-miss guys?

Braylen Edwards- Good but drops WAY too many passes
Mike Williams- Who? was supposed to be the next Keyshawn
Charles Rogers- Was supposed to be the next Mike Irvin. Now runs a 4.8 40. Ask Wikipedia if                                  you dont believe me.
Peter Warrick- turned out to be Peter Warrick
David Terrell- Bust.

So there ya go. Seems the good recievers are unknowns that put in the work and time and don't get by on talent alone. Is Crabs the guy? I would'nt be able to tell you. I am rooting for him though.
